Network Speed on VDS

We provide VDS with unlimited traffic. This is possible thanks to the bandwidth Fair Use Policy that applies to all VDS. Below is how it works and what it means for your server.

Port speed

Each host server is connected to a switch port at 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps and can deliver a peak data transfer rate (both upload and download) of 1 Gbps and higher. These figures are designed for a standard mode of operation, which does not involve using the port at full capacity 24/7.

Thanks to our Fair Use Policy, you do not have to worry about extra payments or penalties for exceeding limits. This option suits users whose tasks do not need ultra-high bandwidth (for example, large-scale video streaming, CDN use, public VPN services or file-sharing resources).

Traffic volume

The allowed traffic volume depends on a number of factors, including the type of traffic and the directions of data transfer.

Please note: we provide a shared network channel - all available network bandwidth is dynamically distributed among all users of the host server.

Terms

  • Incoming traffic is not counted.
  • You may use the server for personal needs, web hosting, a personal VPN, video/conference calls, private file sharing or CDN services.
  • Use for high-load public/paid VPN servers, torrent seeding or TOR exit nodes is not recommended.
  • If you exceed the limits set by the Fair Use Policy, you need to purchase a dedicated network port service.
