Error 404 Not Found
A 404 Not Found error means the server could not find the requested page or file. Most often the cause is where the site files are and how the site is set up. If you see this error when opening the site, check these points in order:
- The files are uploaded to the right directory. The site root is in "WWW domains" -> site -> "Document root" (default
www/<domain>). - The index file exists and is listed in "Index files" (default
index.php index.html). - For CMS with "pretty" links (WordPress, Laravel, etc.), "Enable human-readable URL processing" is on, or there is a correct
.htaccess. - If "Automatic subdomains" is on, the subdomain directory is created according to the chosen scheme (see the article "How to create subdomain(s)").
