The "Tools" -> "Run a command" section lets you run commands in your account's console right from the browser, without an SSH client.

How to run a console command from the panel

What to know about the console:

  • Commands run as the account user, without administrator rights.
  • Built-in commands: cd, pwd, clear; up/down arrows - history, Ctrl+C - cancel.
  • Interactive programs (vim, top, mysql in interactive mode) are not available. Use SSH for them (see the article "How to connect via SSH").
  • Long-running commands are stopped by a timeout.
