Technical work in DC2, Amsterdam

This message is a notice of upcoming work on the fiber optic backbone in DC2, Amsterdam. Location = Zwolle, NL Service Type = Dark fiber Start: 2017-02-08 23:00:00 UTC End: 2017-02-08 06:00:00 UTC Reason: preventive maintenance work Fiber optic network service provider Relined is replacing fiber optic cable segments in Zwolle, NL. The planned work will affect the links DC1<->AMS-NIKEF and DC1<->DC2. Expected impact on services: During the work, both fiber optic channels will be disconnected. As a result, certain directions may be partially unavailable. Relied will disconnect channels sequentially whenever possible to minimize unavailability. We are adding additional capacity to DC2 Amsterdam and will switch a number of network connections to other uplinks during the work. However, we cannot guarantee full availability of all services at the time of work - although we will make every effort to minimize possible unavailability.
