How much space do my websites take up on the server?

2014-02-13
Web space usage data on the server is located in the "Statistics" section, the "Resources Used" and "Disk Usage" menus: As shown in the screenshot, this account occupies/uses 565 MB of disk space on the server. Please note the factors that are taken into account when calculating disk space usage: - User files (including logs); - Disk space consumed by user databases; There is a bug in the ISP Manager panel, due to which the space occupied by files on the user's FTP may be displayed incorrectly. Therefore, we do not recommend estimating its space using the “Disk Usage” menu from the “Statistics” section. We hope that the panel developers will fix this bug soon. Often, users contact our technical support service with the question: why does the control panel warn about low free space on the server if their websites and database take up little space? A common mistake made by clients is when, instead of clearing logs through the control panel (see instructions below), the user deletes files that he thinks are log files in the /logs directory, but which are actually just links. This way the client doesn't see the log files, but they still take up space. Attention! Never delete system files, even if they are, in your opinion, harmless logs. The logs must be “cleared” using the control panel, but under no circumstances should the files be physically deleted. Clearing logs Logs are cleared using the "WWW domains" section, "Log" menu. Select the required logs and click "Clear".
